Games publishers use many tricks to squeeze more money out of gamers. The most diabolic of all: in-game currencies. The real prices of skins and other digital items are hidden behind fantasy currencies in the game’s shops.

So the Sparkasse made something very simple: convert in-game currencies back into real money. With the In-Game Calculator.

This issue is so relevant that the European Comission now decided to take action to protect children against these harmful practices with their own law. Just one year after the launch of our campaign.
